SSNC Vs Midleton - Soccer

What a brilliant performance today from our SSNC soccer team!

The girls headed to Midleton for their Cup Quarter Final against Midleton Educate Together.

In what was a very exciting and entertaining game, our girls just finished on the wrong side of a 3-2 score line, ending our involvement in the competition for this year. 
 

All of our girls played so well throughout the game and we couldn’t have asked for any more on the day. The girls should be so so proud of their efforts. Even those who only started playing a couple of months ago looked like seasoned professionals out on the pitch today! 
 

Again,  a huge thanks to Maria Galvin and Niamh Mangan for all of their help both today and in the lead up to the game. Their expertise on the sideline was a huge addition and was much appreciated. 
 

Many thanks to our other supporters who travelled to Midleton for today’s game also. Including our bus driver who was so impressed with the quality of the game that he stayed to watch the whole thing!!

A rest now for Christmas before the team will get ready for their next competition in the New Year! :-) 

Well done again Ellen, Emma F., Hannah, Rebecca, Emma D. ,Tori, Rachel, Sophie, Siun, Katie, Laura, Sarah, Isla, Aoife, Lucy and Taylor!  You were all amazing!
